Recovery after surgery

Had the mass removed from my sternum on Monday. Came home on Wednesday.

Taking Percocet for pain.

Have a 5 inch incision in my chest going verticle.

Everything seems be be going ok.

Doctor said it would take about 2 weeks to heal.

Can't drive with the percocet in my system but want to get out.

Am reading "The White Queen" by Phillippa Gregory and "the Cost of Discipleship" by Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

Can't put the "Walking Country , Wharfedale, in the Yorkshire Dales" down. 32 walks just up the road from my cousin's home in Yorkshire.

Did some of them. Want to do the rest. Especially some of the walks around Kettlewell for stunning views and up from Buckden to Cray where there is a Roman road. Of course , the walk from Yokenthwaite to Hubblehome sounds good because it goes by the ancient stone circle. All of these walks go by pubs and one can catch the Dales bus in any of the trail heads to get back to Grassington.
